1．鋁材規范是”買賣雙方對供需品質要求的一種敘述”，其制訂內容須合于大眾化最終使用且利于量產及檢（試）驗。
2．鋁材規范依其制訂單位不同可分客戶規范，制造廠商規范，協會規范，國家規范及國際規范五個層級，目前常用規范名稱如下表所示：
